Alloy 718, also known as Inconel alloy 718, is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-based superalloy. 2.4668 material is widely used in critical applications such as aerospace, oil and gas, and nuclear industries, where high strength, good fatigue resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance are critical. Inconel alloy 718 can obtain high strength, good corrosion resistance, easy formability through heat treatment, and is weldable, with good resistance to strain aging cracks. Inconel 718 material can be used at temperatures up to 700°C.
