Alloy 600 Seamless and Welded Pipe

The structure of alloy 600 pipes can be alloy 600 welded pipe or alloy 600 seamless pipe. 600 welded pipe is preferred in applications where its economy plays a very important role. Welded pipes are less expensive than pipes of seamless construction, but welded pipes have longitudinal seams, and ASTM B167 UNS N06600 seamless pipe is the best choice if the highest form of corrosion resistance is required and can withstand higher pressures. Inconel 600 special metals seamless pipe or welded pipe can be selected according to actual needs.

Cold Rolling Production Process of Alloy 600 Pipe :

  1. Raw material preparation: Select the appropriate ASME B167 N06600 material to ensure that its physical and chemical properties meet the requirements.
  2. Pretreatment: remove the head and tail of the alloy 600 material, cut it into a suitable length, and carry out cleaning and degreasing treatment.
  3. Heat treatment: heat-treat the pretreated Inconel 600 material to eliminate the stress inside the material and make it reach a proper plastic state.
  4. Cold rolling: Send the heat-treated 2.4816 alloy 600 material into the cold rolling mill for rolling processing to meet the specified size and surface accuracy requirements.
  5. Annealing: Inconel 600 after cold rolling needs to be annealed to improve its plasticity and toughness, and make it more uniform and stable.
  6. Precision processing: process the annealed Inconel 2.4816 material to meet various requirements and applications of customers.
