Alloy 625 UNS N06625 Material Properties
ASTM B444 is the specification for Inconel 625 pipes. These Inconel 625 EFW pipes have excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion even in extreme environments. Thick wall alloy 625 pipes are also known for their high strength and can withstand high pressure and temperatures. The Inconel 625 seamless tubings are made from the alloy using cold-worked annealed processes that improve their strength and durability.
Alloy 625 Physical Properties
Inconel 625 Special Metals- Inconel 625 UNS N06625 pipes have excellent chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking tolerance. The Schedule 5S inconel alloy 625 contains a small amount of stabilizing titanium that helps it resist localized attack. The 625 pipes have a melting point of 1290°C and a density of 8.44 g/cm^3. Inconel 625 EFW pipes have good thermal conductivity properties of 5.94 W/m·K at 100°C and 6.13 W/m·K at 200°C.
2.4856 Alloy 625 Mechanical Behavior
The alloy 625 UNS N06625 pipes have a superior yield strength of 415 MPa and tensile strength of 830 MPa at room temperature. They have a hardness of 150 - 220 Hv and can withstand temperatures ranging from -196°C to 1093°C. The Inconel 625 UNS N06625 has a coefficient of thermal expansion of 13.3 μm/m·K at 20°C and has a maximum operating pressure of 125 Bar.
