Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy with a high nickel content (around 76%). Inconel 2.4816 is designed for use in temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 2000°F (1093°C), and Inconel 600 tube is known for its excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. The high nickel content of 2.4816 alloy 600 enables it to maintain considerable electrical resistance under reducing conditions and to resist corrosion by a variety of organic and inorganic compounds. The nickel content gives ASTM B167 UNS N06600 excellent resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking and it also has excellent resistance to alkaline solutions. The 2.4816 chromium content makes the alloy resistant to sulfur compounds and various oxidizing environments.

2.4816 Inconel 600 Heat Resistance
