C&N offers high quality of ESPARRAGOS STUD BOLT A193 Grade B7 w/2 NUTS A194 2H PTFE Xylan Coated Stud Bolts, ASTM A193 B7 PTFE Coated Stud bolt, fluorocarbon coated stud bolts
fluorocarbon coated stud bolts also called Fluoropolymer Coated Stud Bolts or PTFE coated stud bolt.Ceramic Coated Fasteners act as the building blocks to corrosion protection. The ceramic base fluoropolymer with PTFE top layer gives excellent corrosion protection and very good lubrication while tightening and hence fasteners which are used in marine and other corrosion prone areas are provided with this coating. Apart from the corrosion protection, ceramic coating gives electrical insulation and thus is also preferred in flange bolting connections in oil and gas industries.Ceramic Coated fasteners and bolting components have the capability to address problems like chemical corrosion, galvanic corrosion, abrasion, erosion, friction and fitment.
Ceramic coating gives 3000 hours minimum of neutral salt spray test as per ASTM B117 which ensures fasteners to provide the users with the best protection under severe usage conditions. Xylar 2 is one of the most renowned basecoat manufactured by whitford for coating on fasteners
fluorocarbon also refers to PTFE materials, PTFE is a fluorocarbon solid, as it is a high-molecular-weight compound consisting wholly of carbon and fluorine.
Xylan coatings are dry-film lubricants combined in a matrix with high-temperature organic polymers developed to provide unique and desirable properties. Xylan coatings provide lubrication and controlled friction, wear resistance, heat resistance, non-stick and release properties.

Xylan coating because of its reputation in the Oil and Gas Industry as one of the premium coating providers for bolts and nuts. As a Qualified Approved Coater, our PTFE coated bolts and nuts have been used in various countries in South America, southeast Asia.Middle east.
Xylan coatings have a broad range of properties which make them ideal for a variety of applications. Xylan differs from traditional Fluoropolymer coatings in one very important aspect … they are composite materials. Lubricants with the lowest-known coefficient of friction are combined with the newest high temperature resistant organic polymers to create Xylan coatings. Together these ingredients form "plastic alloys" with unique properties.
Among these properties are:
Low friction ( as low as 0.055)
Remarkable adhesion
Unusual resistance to wear and abrasion
Excellent resistance to corrosion
Resistance to chipping
Resistance to the elements: weather, sunlight, salt water
Working temperature range from: -190ºC to + 260 ºC
Available in a wide range of colors
Description: PTFE coated fasteners class coating Xylan 1424/ xylan 1070/ xylan 1014 has superb chemical and salt-spray resistance, It performs well in caustic environments, and comes in a wide range of colors. Xylan 1424 is ideal for offshore applications and in environments from sub-sea to splash zone to radio antennas. Xylan 1424 also reduces make-uptorque by as much as 70% and can be made up and broken out numerous times with little or no damage to the coating.
Main Properties: Low coefficient of friction. Abrasion /wear resistant. Dry film lubricant. Thermoset.. Corrosion resistant.
Typical Applications: Piston casing. Compressors. Threaded fasteners.
For better rust prevention of the fasteners, we have in-house facility of manganese phosphating which we provide as a standard rust preventive coating. If customer requires any special type of coating, we provide any of the below mentioned coatings.

Unified threads has 3 types: Coarse thread series (UNC), Fine thread series (UNF) and customized series(XUN). Customers demand 8UN Studbult more often. UN is the shorten of unified national .
TPI refers to threads per inch, so UNC (11 TPI) means it is 11 threads per inch coarse thread.
Measured in TPI, UNF and UNC have, respectively, 20 threads per inch and 28 threads per inch.
UN and UNF have same included angle which is 60 deg, the difference between them is the number of threads per inch.
Coarse thread series is the most common thread system and suits for most of screws, bolts and nuts . Diameters one inch and above uses 8UN thread more often.
